Regional HouseThe administrative and exhibition center of Orava Gallery Baroque building from end of 17. century, two floors, masonry one with central arcade courtyard, has preserved its present feature after last extensive renovation from 1893. The front exterior of the building has new-baroque moderation from 1896. On the exterior, between the first and the second floor, over the major entry into the building, there is the relief polychrome-plated sandstone blazon of Orava region from 18. century. The object is located on historical square of Hviezdoslav (Slovak writer and poet) of Dolný Kubín town. In 1994, its large general reconstruction was completed, through which the Gallery gain 1 800 m2 for exposition and exhibition area. The Gallery made accessible the permanent expositions from own collections in 1995:
the old craft of 15. 19. century Annually the Orava Gallery is preparing in its newly reconstructed rooms 10 to 12 short-time exhibitions of the Slovak and foreign artworks. The collection fund is created by eight art disciplines in the amount nearly 8 000 pieces of the fine arts.

Contact: Slanica Island of ArtsIn the original romantic surrounding of Slanica Island of Arts, in the middle of Orava dam, in the initially baroque chapel (in 1843 moderated on classicism) there is the permanent exposition of folk art, named "The Slovak traditional folk plastics and paintings". The part of the exhibition creates also the lapidary of the stone plastics in the exterior of the island, under name "The lapidary creation of Orava". Both expositions were made accessible for public in 1971 73. The wooden polychrome-coated and stone plastics from 18. and 20. century are here exhibited. Contact: Mária Medvecká GalleryThe exposition from the work of painter born in Orava is installed in the village house from 19. century in Tvrdošín Medvedzie since 1979. On the area of 583 m 2 there are exhibited 242 fine arts, represented by life work of author, who, after studies in Bratislava and Vienna returned to native Orava region and together with her husband, artist Ctibor Belan they devoted to the creative work and important cultural and education activity, the result of which is also the foundation of Orava Gallery.
